Our therapy focuses on skill development, emotional regulation, emotional literacy, helping individuals build meaningful coping strategies, strengthen relationships with themselves and others.
-
Clear, strengths-based assessments to support funding, planning and long-term outcomes.
Who we work with
-
We support children, adolescents, and adults living with disability who are experiencing behaviours of concern or require additional support to achieve their goals. We work closely with participants and their families to understand each person's strengths, needs, and aspirations, developing practical, evidence-based strategies that improve quality of life, build independence, and promote meaningful participation in everyday activities.
-
We work collaboratively with Support Coordinators, Recovery Coaches, allied health professionals, General Practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and disability support providers. Through clear communication, timely reporting, and a multidisciplinary approach, we help ensure participants receive coordinated, high-quality supports that achieve lasting outcomes.
-
We partner with schools, early childhood services, Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers, day programs, community organisations, and disability service providers to develop practical behaviour support strategies that can be implemented consistently across settings. Our goal is to build the capacity of teams, promote positive environments, and support sustainable outcomes for the people they support.

“At New Light, we kept seeing people with complex needs and families trying to navigate systems that weren’t built around real life. We wanted to create a team that meets people where they are, with practical, consistent and compassionate support.
We are passionate about making a genuine difference in people’s lives. With expert knowledge and experience in complex care and support services, we work alongside individuals and families to provide personalised, family-centred care that builds trust, confidence and connection.”
